Fair trade
Whether from Germany, Paraguay or Ecuador - we know where the good organic ingredients for bionella come from. We are in personal contact with all our suppliers and work closely with them. Because fair payment and social standards are unfortunately not a matter of course for suppliers and farmers outside of Europe, we trade cocoa, raw sugar, cocoa butter and bourbon vanilla fairly.
The ingredients are certified by Rapunzel's own fair trade program HAND IN HAND. This program stands for prices above market level, humane, healthy and safe working conditions. Fair trade thus directly improves the living conditions of the farmers and supports local value creation.

Vegan recipe
bionella is for everyone. No matter whether big or small, old or young. Not only because the nut nougat cream tastes so delicious, but also because it contains no animal ingredients. Instead of the classic milk powder, bionella contains organic sweet lupine flour from Germany, making it even more environmentally friendly.

Own production
The organic pioneer Rapunzel produces bionella with a lot of love in the south of Germany. For almost 50 years, the family-owned company has been producing many sweet creams and nut butters - always organic, with natural ingredients, without flavors, artificial additives or cheaper substitutes. bionella is produced carefully, with a lot of experience and in an environmentally friendly way - and that you can taste.
